John Hellström first photographer to win national championship medal and national team place in wedding three years in a row
John Hellström won silver during the Swedish Championship in Photography 2019, in the wedding photo category. He previously won silver in the Wedding category as well as silver in the Documentary category 2018, and gold in the Wedding category 2017. “Being the only photographer to win medals three years in a row in the Wedding category is a great honour. It feels like a receipt of quality over time. The Swedish National Championship (SM) is also an important value meter and good for feedback, to continue to develop photography over time and to be competitive” says John. John is a Canson certified print maker with a print studio in Vallentuna, in northern Stockholm, Sweden. Several photographers’ prints won medals (gold, silver and bronze) made by Hellström Studio in the latest Swedish National Championships.

The photographers with the best pictures in the Swedish National Championship in Photography 2019 will join the Swedish National Team in Photography. John Hellström is chosen as head coach for the Swedish National Team in Photography
The Swedish Championship in Photography John appointed John Hellsröm to be the national team captain earlier this year. He is then responsible for Sweden's participation in the WPC, as well as supporting other national team photographers with their competition issues.
