SM Gold Wedding Photographer of The Year Award 2017
First place in the Swedish Championship for wedding photographers
Photographer John Hellström from Stockholm, Sweden, came first in the Swedish Championship (SM) in the wedding photography category. Swedish Portrait Photographers Federation (SvPF) arranged SM in print competition, and John participated in the class for wedding photographers with six printed pictures. All images were judged by an international jury and John's victory image came in the top class Excellent. That picture also won the wedding image of the year title!

Wedding and portrait photographer John Hellstrom have after the successes in the Swedish Championships become a member in the national team for professional photographers, to represent Sweden in World Photographic Cup. See all the national team photographs here:
About World Photographic Cup - WPC
WPC describes themselves: "The WPC was founded in 2013 as a cooperative effort by Federation of European Photographers (FEP) och Professional Photographers of America (PPA). Its singular goal is to unite photographers in a spirit of friendship and cooperation. A Governing Committee has been created to conduct the ongoing affairs of the competition, also supported by UAPP (United Asian Professional Photography) and AIPP (Australian Institute of Professional Photography). The brotherhood and sisterhood of photography is a bond that transcends language, culture, and geography. That’s the foundation behind the World Photographic Cup, an one of a kind international team competition. Sure, there are lots of other competitions, but there is just one World Photographic Cup."
