Jag hade förmånen att få vara Alexandra och Richards bröllopsfotograf under deras underbara sommarbröllop i Nynäshamn. Paret kom från USA tillsammans med vänner och familj, för att besöka brudens föräldrar som bor på ett "happy place" i Stockholm skärgård.

How did you two meet?
We met at a local bar during billiards night. A friend of mine asked me to tag along to watch her husband play so I though "what the heck". I was at the bar ordering a drink when Richard came up to me and said "I like your boots". Who knew those four words would be the beginning of a new chapter in both our lives! We talked for awhile and then he had to assist his mom so I left my phone number with his brother Justin and the next night he asked me out on a date and here we are! :)
How did you decide to get married?
Richard proposed to me on December 27, 2014, which happen to be the night before my parents' anniversary. Before he proposed, Richard was able to spend some time with my dad and brother Garrett which were two of the most important men in my life. Richard wanted to make sure he had their blessing before he proposed. We were staying at my grandparents' house for the Christmas holiday and so Richard asked me out for a walk around the grounds of the house. Just us, our two dogs, and the night sky and he asked for my hand. It could not have been more perfect, minus the dogs scraping our legs with the sticks they were trying to give us ha ha.
What moments were most special during your wedding day
Richard and I agree that all the moments together made the whole day special. There were just enough joy, laughter, and tears to make the day perfect. We loved every second of the day, but if we had to pick one moment that topped the rest it was seeing each other for the first time that day. For me, seeing Richard tear up and I walked down the isle there are not words to describe how special that was to me. For Richard, it was taking my hand at the alter and how the wedding included his late mother.
Something about your wedding trip?
For me, it was being with family and friends across the world. I loved how happy everyone was to see this new country (which is beautiful), trying new things, and meeting new people. I loved the rehearsal dinner, which was on a boat, the scenery was breathtaking and the food was phenomenal. For Richard, it was drinking scotch with his friends the night after the wedding, and the honeymoon to Italy :)
