Wedding in the Royal Castle
Royal Borgen Stockholm Wedding photography by John Hellstrom
From the first date to Freys hotel in Stockholm
It was midsummer 2007 that Jessica and Eric caught the eye of another. Sure, they had met many times before when they attended the same school, but this was different. Jessica fell for Eric's beautiful eyes! The engagement took place on the day they celebrated five years together, in Rome. The rings were purchased and they exchanged rings in a cozy restaurant. Seven years later, during the wedding day morning, the bridal couple prepared in
in the central of Stockholm, Sweden.
Marriage in Solna chruch
Jessica and Eric got married in beautiful old
. Bridesmaids were Charlotte and Emma. Marsalkerna were Philip and Niklas. Toast madame was Michaela and Charlotte.
The rings came from Schalins, the flowers from Agnes and Lisa and the wedding dress from Maggie Sottero. The car they rode in was a nice Cadillac, previously owned by King Gustav V.
Wedding reception at Kungliga Borgen
The reception was in the
(Royal Castle) with white table settings, candle holders made by Eric, hydrangeas on the tables and lots of lovely friends and loved ones! The DJ at the party was Thomas. The honeymoon will be somewhere in Europe, possibly Italy, where they got engaged!
"Our wedding day was the happiest day of our lives, despite the lack of summer weather. Though a little rain is supposed to bring happiness in marriage!"
